Oscar Piastri came under scrutiny following a pit-lane incident with George Russell. Here’s everything happening in real time:
During FP2 at the 2025 Dutch GP in Zandvoort, attention briefly shifted from the track to the pit lane, where a potentially risky situation unfolded. A McLaren pit mix-up involved Piastri and Russell. Initially directed toward teammate Norris’ pit box, Piastri was called back at the last moment to his own spot. In attempting to adjust, he lightly touched Russell’s Mercedes.
The contact caused a double impact for the Brit: first his front right hit the McLaren, then his front left grazed the wall while avoiding Piastri.
