The long-awaited rumors around the Ferrari Monza 2025 livery can finally be put to rest: the special edition is happening – and it’s set to recall a historic moment!
Ferrari has just released a cryptic yet unmistakable teaser on social media: a single-seater covered by a red cloth, a preview of something that won’t add horsepower after the Zandvoort setback, but will bring the kind of magic only the Scuderia can deliver to motorsport.
As revealed by GPKingdom in recent days, Ferrari will showcase a special livery at Monza inspired by the 1975 Italian Grand Prix (September 7, 1975) – the race that secured Niki Lauda’s first World Championship title.

The connection to history is crystal clear: this year marks the 50th anniversary of that triumph, which symbolized Ferrari’s rebirth in Formula 1. The teaser video doesn’t just show the covered car; it also features a subtle audio clue – a weather reference, evoking the rainy morning and sunny afternoon that defined that iconic GP.
What the Livery Might Look Like
Based on early hints, the celebratory design could draw from the legendary Ferrari 312T, with more white details alongside the traditional red. This would serve a dual purpose: paying tribute to Lauda’s success and honoring an era that remains central to Ferrari’s legacy.
