Isack Hadjar is on the verge of joining Red Bull: according to Auto Motor und Sport, the deal is sealed.
Hadjar’s promotion would free up a seat at Racing Bulls. The German outlet adds that Helmut Marko has already decided to hand that opportunity to Arvin Lindblad, a young Red Bull Academy prospect, giving him an immediate shot in Formula 1.
Tsunoda or Lawson on the way out
What remains uncertain is which current Racing Bulls driver will make way. Yuki Tsunoda appears to be the leading candidate to leave F1, despite his popularity and strong ties with Honda. Liam Lawson, however, is also far from secure: the New Zealander has underperformed this season and could also lose his spot.
The Red Bull puzzle seems to be taking shape, but official confirmation is expected only in the coming weeks.
