Lewis Hamilton opens up in support of the Prancing Horse: “Let’s rise again and start over.”
Surprising. After a weekend where much more was expected, silence seemed the most likely reaction. Yet, when your name is Lewis Hamilton, you never bow your head. The Brit has instead issued a challenge — the will to rise again and fight for what he believes in.
Lewis Hamilton’s Words
Here’s what Lewis Hamilton wrote on Instagram: “After a tough week, it feels good to be home. I’ve had some time to reflect on my journey back from Singapore, and the main emotion I feel is gratitude. The support and love I’ve received after losing Roscoe have been a powerful reminder that even when things seem dark, there’s still so much goodness in the world — you just have to look for it.
I’m also focusing on the positives on track. Media headlines only tell part of the story — the part where we don’t get things right or things don’t go our way. But what I’ve been focusing on over the past months is the other story. The one about how this team reacts when things go wrong. About how we rise again and start over.
Yesterday was a perfect example. We nailed the strategy, but a brake issue held us back just when we were building momentum. Now we go back to the factory, learn from this race, and plan for the next one.
I’m really proud of this team and I want to help achieve the results they and the fans deserve. I see the progress we’re making and the hard work behind every race, but this is Ferrari. Progress alone isn’t enough. To reach greatness, we have to go further — be better. There’s so much we can achieve together, and if we can build on our successes and change what needs to be changed, I truly believe we’ll get there.
Forza Ferrari.“
