McLaren remains on top at Interlagos: Ferrari struggles, Verstappen only sixth.
Lando Norris continues to dominate the Brazilian weekend. After topping FP1, the McLaren driver secured pole position for the Sprint Race at Interlagos with a 1:09.243, earning the top spot on the grid.
Right behind him is a sensational Kimi Antonelli, once again starring for Mercedes, while Oscar Piastri completes the top three — confirming McLaren’s supremacy over a single lap.
The Sprint Qualifying session, however, delivered plenty of action and surprises: Max Verstappen, enduring a difficult weekend so far, could not get the best out of his Red Bull, ending up only sixth and complaining over the radio about an “undriveable car.”

A tough Friday also for Ferrari — Charles Leclerc finished eighth, while Lewis Hamilton was eliminated in SQ2 after his teammate’s spin. On the other hand, Fernando Alonso impressed with a great lap to grab fifth for Aston Martin, while Isack Hadjar clinched a solid ninth ahead of Nico Hulkenberg.
