Everything is set for the final round of the F1 Academy in Las Vegas, where the world title is on the line between Doriane Pin and Maya Weug. Here’s EVERYTHING you need to know about the seventh round of the championship led by Susie Wolff.
The progress of the third edition of the F1 Academy had been widely anticipated since the start of the season, which resumed in Shanghai exactly where it had left off last year, when Abbi Pulling claimed the crown, leaving Doriane Pin and Maya Weug with the task of seeking redemption in 2025. A year of intense battles and bittersweet moments is about to come to an end against the magical backdrop of Las Vegas, a venue where Susie Wolff’s championship will make its debut for the first time in its history.
The two drivers – supported by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and Scuderia Ferrari – will arrive on the Strip with 151 and 142 points respectively. The fight for third place remains open as well, with Ella Lloyd and Chloe Chambers separated by just 2 points. Meanwhile, the season ends on a sour note for Aiva Anagnostiadis, who will miss the final round following surgery on her left foot. She will be replaced by Rachel Robertson in the car supported by TAG Heuer and run by Hitech TGR. The wild card will be Payton Westcott, supported by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (Visit Las Vegas), the city’s official tourism marketing organization.
According to the official announcement, “Westcott will take to the track with a vibrant Las Vegas–inspired livery and race suit, celebrating the city’s electric energy and its unmatched status as the world’s capital of sport and entertainment.”
Additionally, for the F1 Academy’s final rush in Las Vegas, the championship will debut a capsule collection created in collaboration with the Hello Kitty brand: a partnership that includes an exclusive 36-piece merchandise line, dedicated grandstands, and interactive fan activations during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Susie Wolff, CEO of F1 ACADEMY, said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Hello Kitty and Friends to celebrate the final round of our season. A big thank you goes to the Las Vegas team for their support in making this possible. Set against the iconic skyline, we are creating a finale like no other. With the Hello Kitty Grandstand experience and the merchandise range, we want to go out with a bang and challenge outdated perceptions of what belongs in motorsport .”
“This collaboration with F1 ACADEMY marks an exciting first for Hello Kitty and Friends as we enter the world of motorsport,” said Craig Takiguchi, Chief Operating Officer of Sanrio, Inc. “Together, we are celebrating creativity, individuality, and ambition on one of the biggest stages in global sport. From exclusive merchandise to unforgettable fan experiences,
