Alpine Reveals Date and Location for 2026 Car Unveiling: Here’s When and Where the Launch Event Will Be
In just over a month, we will get to know the Alpine of the future. The Enstone team announced on social media where and when the car for next season will be presented: in Barcelona on January 23rd. The date and location are no coincidence: the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will, in fact, host the first pre-season tests, scheduled from January 26th to 30th.
The team of Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, both confirmed for next year, is the fourth to reveal its car presentation date. Red Bull and Racing Bulls will hold a joint launch on January 15th in Detroit, while Aston Martin will unveil the AMR26 on February 9th. In this sense, the winter presentations have become true media events: between digital reveals, commercial partnerships, and symbolic backdrops, every team carefully chooses how to present itself to the world. The choice of Barcelona reflects Alpine’s desire to link the debut directly to the track.

After a 2025 spent at the back of the grid, Alpine aims to turn the page, taking advantage of the regulation changes. The new car, in fact, will also be one of the first to be unveiled within the new technical context, which will introduce new-generation power units and revised aerodynamics to promote energy efficiency.
This, combined with the switch to Mercedes engines, gives Flavio Briatore’s team reason for optimism. Gasly, in his fourth year with the team, is called upon to lead the revolution. Colapinto, after a recent growth in performance but not in results, will have to prove that he is no longer a gamble but a stable fixture in his own right.
