Leclerc drops sharply, Hamilton disappears: Formula 1 team principals “forget” Ferrari’s two drivers.
Formula 1 asked the ten team principals on the grid to submit their personal top 10 list of the best F1 drivers. It is not known who voted for whom, as the votes were anonymous, but the official results were released just a few minutes ago.
As with any ranking, it was bound to cause debate and controversy – but this one may do so more than most.
The ranking of the best drivers according to the team principals
What stands out more than anything else are the positions of the two Ferrari drivers: Leclerc has lost as many as four places compared to 2024, dropping all the way down to 7th, while Hamilton is incredibly absent from the ranking altogether.
Here are the final results.
