The end of the partnership between Lewis and Riccardo Adami has been recently argued by Ivan Capelli: he backs Hamilton
The dynamic between Riccardo Adami and Lewis Hamilton never went so well. Along all the 2025 season, there were some misunderstanding issues between the two protagonists with arguments even in the radio.

After years serving Sebastian Vettel and Carlos Sainz (and a further year working along with Lewis Hamilton), the Italian Ferrari’s engineer will end his activity on track focussing on his project for the Ferrari Driver Academy and TPC tests.
Ivan Capelli’s thoughts and the sudden changement
The news has undoubtedly sent ripple effects through the Ferrari camp, igniting intense speculation among paddock insiders. The primary focus is now on who will inherit the coveted role currently held by Riccardo Adami.
Speaking in an interview with Fanpage, Sky Sports commentator Ivan Capelli offered a poignant reflection on Hamilton’s current state: “He gave me the impression of being alone. I perceived this sensation and described it exactly in those terms“.
“Even within the life of the garage and the team, it seemed to me that—beyond certain situations staged or required for television coverage, where you see him arriving and high-fiving the mechanics, or for instance in the last race when he picked up the car debris after the practice crash—there is a deeper disconnect”.
The former driver concluded: “His requests seemed more like a way of wanting to be more integrated into the team, to be more involved. This year, it felt as though he never truly had fun; there was no visible joy. His standout performances remained isolated—merely flashes of brilliance on a single day “.
