The final practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix was marked by a long red flag period due to a terrifying crash involving Logan Sargeant exiting Turn 3

Little activity, lots of pauses, and waiting: not much happened during the final practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix, which was marked by an incredible crash at the exit of Turn 3 involving Logan Sargeant.

Sargeant’s Crash During FP3 in the Netherlands

It took nearly 45 minutes to repair the barriers, which were severely damaged after the American driver’s crash. As a result, the FIA reopened the track only for a final flying lap, making the session largely uninformative for the rest of the weekend.

In a chaotic and crowded final lap, Pierre Gasly surprisingly set the fastest time with a 1:20.311 on intermediate tires, followed by Magnussen and Bottas.

Max Verstappen received a black-and-white flag for overtaking Piastri and Russell in the pit lane, drawing the attention of the stewards. Sergio Perez ended the session at the bottom of the timesheets without setting a time.

Sainz Facing “Blind” Qualifying

Wind in FP1, gearbox issues in FP2, and a red flag in FP3 have made for a disastrous start to the weekend for Carlos Sainz, who has yet to complete a valid run all weekend.
