The words of Team Principal Frederic Vasseur ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, as Ferrari aims for victory.

Formula 1 is back in the spotlight with the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the 22nd and third-to-last race of the season. The spotlight, in addition to the artificial lights of the circuit, is on the Ferrari-McLaren battle, with just 36 points separating them in the standings.

In the first and only edition of the American GP, held last year, Ferrari showed strong competitiveness, as confirmed by Charles Leclerc’s pole position and second-place finish in the race. The Scuderia’s hope is to repeat and even improve on last year’s performance.

Leading the charge is Team Principal Frederic Vasseur, who analyzed the upcoming Las Vegas event. Here are his words: “We are entering the final stretch of this intense season with the last triple-header: three night races, all in desert environments. The next stop will be Las Vegas, on an extremely fast street circuit, characterized by few corners, many of which are ninety-degree turns. The challenges will be significant, starting with the cold night temperatures: getting the tires into the right operating window will be crucial, both for qualifying and the race.”

Vasseur then added: “We expect an extraordinary spectacle from this second edition of the Grand Prix, with the goal of surpassing the success of the inaugural race and attracting even more attention to Formula 1. From our side, we will give our best to be protagonists: last year we fought for the win, and we know we have the potential to do well again this time, as long as we pay attention to every detail.

The team has prepared well: Charles, Carlos, and all the team members have had the opportunity to recharge and are ready to return with determination. We are confident in our abilities and aware of what it takes to keep the fight alive in the Constructors’ Championship.”

Since the Dutch Grand Prix, Ferrari seems to have found a new rhythm, and for Vasseur, there is no secret but rather an improvement in the quality of their work:“Sometimes it’s hard to react when you find yourself in such a situation. The team has done an excellent job of recovering. We’ve had a good sequence. Certainly, we missed some points in Baku, but since the summer break, I believe we’ve done a good job.”
