Lewis Hamilton appears to be on the verge of parting ways with energy drink sponsor Monster Energy, with his move to Ferrari being a “decisive” factor
As we edge closer to 2025, the countdown to Lewis Hamilton becoming a Ferrari driver is almost over. The British driver’s historic decision to leave Mercedes marks a major shift in his career. However, the Brackley-based team might not be the only entity parting ways with the Stevenage superstar.
According to reports from SportBusiness, Hamilton is set to end his long-standing relationship with Monster Energy, due to a conflict of interest with Ferrari. The Scuderia is sponsored by Celsius, a competitor of both Red Bull and Monster Energy, with Charles Leclerc already partnering with the brand.
Monster Energy Shifts Focus to McLaren
The Monster Beverage Corporation, which produces Monster Energy, had already shifted its focus to McLaren last year, stepping away from Mercedes. However, the collaboration with Hamilton continued throughout this year. It now seems that these are the final days of the partnership, which began back in 2017.
