Carlos Sainz will race his first season with Williams in 2025, these are the words of the Spanish driver.
On February 14th, the Williams car will be revealed, although the final version, as announced by the team itself, will be the one showcased at the global event on February 18th, scheduled in London. Among the updates for the British team ahead of 2025, a key change involves the driver lineup, with Carlos Sainz joining Alexander Albon.
The Spanish driver, who is coming off four seasons with Ferrari, gave an interesting interview discussing his experience with Williams. Here’s what he had to say: “It’s an important time for the team, and we will push everyone to bring Williams back to the front of the grid as quickly as possible. I was really impressed with the team in Abu Dhabi; after a long season, it was fantastic to see the motivation and commitment everyone put into such an important test.”
The Spaniard then added: “Thanks to this test, we were able to structure a solid plan, and we’ve already started working on it to ensure we’re as well-prepared as possible for the tests and the first race. We’re not far from the Silverstone presentation, and I can’t wait to discover my new car. 2025 will be an exciting year, and we are fully committed to building a strong season. Vamos!”
