The Chassis Technical Director, Loïc Serra, explained the secrets of the new Ferrari that will take part in the 2025 World Championship.
Last night, through a series of renderings, Ferrari officially unveiled the SF-25 with which it will compete in the 2025 Formula 1 season. A championship that promises to be spectacular and balanced, with the Prancing Horse ready to fight for both titles up for grabs.

The new creation from Maranello is an evolution of the 2024 package, which had performed well in the second half of last season after a series of incorrect updates during the summer. The Chassis Technical Director, Loïc Serra, explained the secrets that make the SF-25 different from last season’s car, despite being an evolution of the same.
These were his statements, starting with the merits of the project named 677: ‘The SF-25 is an evolution of the SF-24, which was an excellent starting base. That said, we’ve worked hard, changing 99% of the car, evolving its architecture to maximize performance.’
Serra then went on to explain that it will be crucial to find a significant balance in a season where the gaps, on paper, will be minimal: ‘The pull-rod suspension is just the most obvious of the many significant changes we’ve made. The upcoming season will present an incredibly tight challenge, where every millisecond could count. We are therefore ready to do our best to find those gains, even if marginal, that can make a difference. We can’t wait to get on track.’
At this moment, Ferrari is on track at Fiorano with Lewis Hamilton, who went out on track around 2 PM, while in the morning it was Charles Leclerc who inaugurated the SF-25. To better understand the characteristics of the new Ferrari, we’ll have to wait for the tests, which will take place in a week.
