It is one of the most anticipated films of the year in the Formula 1 world, and during the Melbourne Grand Prix weekend, a preview of what we will see in theaters starting this summer was released: here’s the official F1 trailer!
In conjunction with the Australian Grand Prix, the full trailer for the Formula 1 movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski – the same director of Top Gun: Maverick – and produced by Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton, has been unveiled. Filmed during official Formula 1 race weekends last year, the movie follows the story of two drivers from the APXGP team, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the sport, both on and off the track.

The movie is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2025, and stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former 1990s champion who retired due to a serious accident. However, when the owner of the Apex Grand Prix team (played by Javier Bardem) asks him to return to the track and mentor the rising star Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris), Hayes accepts the challenge and returns to compete in the world’s premier motorsport series.
