The new track shakes things up, but the Moto2 leader continues to clock alien lap times. A very strong session as well for the Italtrans and Elf Marc VDS teams.

After Moto3, the intermediate class also begins to get to grips with the new circuit. Amid numerous yellow flags and crashes, Manu Gonzalez continues to shine. Rider #18 leads once again, this time in Hungary.

A great start for Team Italtrans, with Adrian Huertas (2nd) clocking the second-fastest lap, just 134 thousandths behind the leader. At the same time, Diogo Moreira (4th) continues his positive streak; after the announcement of his move to MotoGP, he can now focus solely on finishing the season strong.

Marc van der Straten-Ponthoz’s team can also be pleased with Filip Salac taking third, and especially with Jake Dixon’s sixth-place finish—he seems to have found his form again after a series of tough weekends.

Among the rookies, the standout is undoubtedly Collin Veijer (5th); however, David Alonso also deserves attention—despite a late crash, he showed very strong pace.
