Lando Norris tops the timesheets in FP2 at Monza, but Charles Leclerc is right behind, just 83 thousandths off the pace. Carlos Sainz impresses in third, followed by Piastri, Hamilton, and Verstappen, rounding out a very tight top six
Action resumes at Monza, following a thrilling and unexpected FP1 session that saw a Ferrari one-two and Lewis Hamilton initially setting the pace.
McLaren welcomed back Oscar Piastri after he was replaced by Dunne in FP1, although the team didn’t shine in the morning session (Norris finished sixth). Here’s the LIVE coverage of FP2:

Norris clocks a 1:23.5, Leclerc follows with 1:23.6, and Verstappen with 1:23.7. Piastri struggles in traffic.

-17:34: Norris leads, Hamilton just a tenth behind. Leclerc, complaining of low grip, is only eighth. Albon third, Hulkenberg fourth, Sainz fifth.
-17:25: Sainz goes fastest with a 1:20.583, edging out Verstappen by a tenth. Leclerc third, three-tenths back on the white (hard) tyres
