Here’s the complete F1 STARTING GRID at Monza: Verstappen from POLE, then Norris and Piastri.
Max in front, then Norris, then Piastri: it’s a top 3 not new to Monza, but certainly unusual given that many thought the fight would be between Ferrari and McLaren.
Qualifying Summary
Max Verstappen confirmed his talent once again at Monza, taking pole position ahead of the two McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Charles Leclerc will start 4th, while Lewis Hamilton, fifth on pure pace, will have to start 10th due to the penalty received at Zandvoort. The third row is all Mercedes with George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who delivered a solid qualifying session in front of the Italian crowd.
It was a bitter day for Carlos Sainz, who failed to replicate his strong free practice form and ended up 13th, while the Racing Bulls were a huge disappointment with Isack Hadjar 16th and Liam Lawson dead last.
