In her farewell message, Paula expressed her gratitude for the experience at Maranello: “Looking back on an unforgettable chapter with Scuderia Ferrari, now that some time has passed since the end of the 2024 F1 season, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how intense and rewarding it was to be part of such an iconic team.

During the year, I had the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of simulation projects, including cooling and fuel systems, the car’s mass distribution model, and several cross-departmental studies. Each challenge pushed me to grow as an engineer, improving both my technical and interpersonal skills, and to collaborate closely with brilliant professionals across all departments.”

Montano also highlighted the value of being involved both at the factory and trackside: “Being engaged in operations both at the factory and on track gave me a real understanding of the precision, teamwork, and resilience that define Formula 1 behind the scenes. I am incredibly proud of everything we achieved together and grateful to everyone who made this experience so special. Heartfelt thanks to all who shared this journey with me.”

With this move, Mercedes secures a proven talent in simulation, ready to contribute to the development of its cars for the coming seasons. Meanwhile, following Wolf Zimmermann’s departure, Maranello sees another key change in its technical lineup.
