From Thailand to Argentina: MotoGP is ready to hit the track again, with Pecco Bagnaia potentially matching a personal record.<\/h2>\n\n

MotoGP is about to return, and the riders have arrived at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, where the first practice sessions will begin in just a few hours. Leading the championship<\/a> in the premier class of the motorcycle world championship is Marc Marquez<\/strong>, with the number 93 rider being the favorite on the Argentine circuit.<\/p>\n\n

The Cervera rider is the only one in MotoGP history to have won more than once at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit<\/strong>: he has won three times, taking the top spot on the podium at the Argentine GP. This is an impressive record, considering the unpredictability of the track, which has crowned six different winners in just eight GPs<\/strong> held there. <\/p>\n\n

Other active MotoGP riders who have won at this circuit are Maverick Vi\u00f1ales (2017) and Marco Bezzecchi (2023).<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

The situation is different for Pecco Bagnaia<\/strong>, who has never finished on the podium in Argentina<\/strong> (even considering the lower and intermediate categories of the MotoGP). However, this weekend, the rider from Turin could equal a personal record, and to do so, he needs to finish in one of the top three positions <\/strong>at the end of Sunday\u2019s race. <\/p>\n\n

In Thailand, the Ducati rider finished on the podium for the seventh consecutive race and is now aiming for his eighth top-3 finish. In his career, Pecco Bagnaia has already achieved eight consecutive podiums twice, but never nine<\/strong>. This personal record, therefore, could finally be surpassed in the next two races. <\/p>\n\n
