The third round of the MotoGP World Championship has concluded<\/a>: the Circuit of the Americas played a nasty trick on several riders while giving important points to others. Gonzalez made a fatal mistake by choosing slick tires despite the rain, finishing 22nd, while Dixon claimed victory<\/strong>. The British rider overtakes Gonzalez in the standings and now leads by 14 points. <\/p>\n\n

The consistency of Canet also pays off<\/strong>, as the Spaniard moves up to second position, while Tony Arbolino <\/strong>makes a significant leap forward, thanks to his first podium of the season. <\/p>\n\n

A good race for Ortola, Veijer, Gutierrez, Van der Goorbergh, and Alonso: all five earn their first points. On the other hand, Celestino Vietti<\/strong> remains stationary<\/strong>, recording his second zero of the season (the other was in Thailand<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n
