After four weeks off, the world championship returns for its first European round: here are all the sessions of the race weekend
The fourth round of the MotoGP season kicks off tomorrow at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto. Aprilia Racing will start as the favorite, with both riders at the top of the current standings. However, keep an eye on Álex Márquez, who last year took his first premier-class victory right on this track.
In the past, Francesco Bagnaia has also delivered strong performances at Jerez, with three wins in the last four years at this circuit. Maverick Viñales will be absent, as he is still recovering from a shoulder injury.

Weather forecast
As for the weather, it is not expected to be an easy weekend. Starting Friday, the sky over the circuit should be cloudy, with a chance of light rain in the morning. Conditions are not expected to improve on Saturday, with forecasts currently indicating rain until the end of the Sprint Race. Sunday, however, will be a completely different story, with clear skies and higher temperatures. This means the main race could be highly unpredictable, as track and temperature conditions may be completely different from the rest of the weekend.
