Here’s the recap of the MotoGP Sprint in Jerez: rain turns the race into complete chaos.
After this morning’s qualifying, with home hero Marc Marquez on pole, it was time for the Sprint Race — and MotoGP action returned to life in Jerez.

Lap 7 – MARQUEZ CRASHES! INCREDIBLE! Marc Marquez goes down at Turn 13! Heavy rain now in Jerez, but riders are still on slicks. The #93 gets back up and heads to the pits to switch bikes.

Lap 6 – Alex Marquez attacks Marc: he takes the lead!

Lap 2 – DRAMA! Jorge Martin’s brake disc overheats — he’s forced to retire! Huge blow for Aprilia, both top riders effectively out of the points.
