Here are our Fantasy F1 tips for Canada: who are you picking for your lineup?
After the chaotic Miami weekend — where Kimi Antonelli claimed his third consecutive victory of the season, while post-race penalties and late drama shook up the order (Ferrari fans know this very well) — Formula 1 now heads to Canada for the Montreal Grand Prix.

A circuit that has historically delivered surprises, Safety Cars and incredible comebacks: everything a fantasy manager loves to hear. Or maybe not…
Where we left off: the Miami weekend
Miami partially confirmed Mercedes as the dominant force of the 2026 championship, with Antonelli increasingly becoming the man to beat, although McLaren showed major progress. Norris and Piastri completed the podium for the Papaya team, while Ferrari endured a disastrous weekend in terms of points: Leclerc received a 20-second post-race penalty for repeatedly cutting the track, dropping to eighth after his final-lap mistake while chasing Piastri.
Hamilton finished sixth, Russell fourth and Verstappen fifth after a five-second penalty: a race that slightly reshaped the hierarchy, but not the winner — still Kimi Antonelli.

The “top” drivers: Antonelli and more
Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is a track of walls, heavy braking zones and almost guaranteed Safety Cars. Antonelli scored his first podium here, while Russell won in 2025: both are highly recommended picks. The same goes for Hamilton, who has taken six poles and seven wins in Canada, while Leclerc will be eager to secure only his second career podium in Montreal after his first in 2019.

The outsiders: Colapinto and Sainz
Canada is a circuit that rewards aggressive drivers and those able to seize opportunities: keep an eye on Alpine, whose Miami performance showed clear improvement. Williams could become one of the best-value teams of the weekend: they already scored points in Miami, and in Canada the clean and precise driving style of both drivers could prove extremely effective. Also watch Audi, aiming to return to the points, as well as Racing Bulls.

Which team should I choose?
McLaren remains the safest option after Miami: Norris and Piastri proved they can fight at the front, and in Montreal the Woking team’s package should remain highly competitive.
However, much will depend on the incoming Mercedes upgrades, which could once again widen the gap between the two teams (although their fantasy prices are becoming extremely high!). Ferrari currently seems slightly behind, but with Leclerc and Hamilton, the Maranello squad still has everything needed to pull off something special.
