Here are the results of the MotoGP FP1 at Mugello: the fastest time goes to Fabio Di Giannantonio!
Between the stunning Tuscan hills admired worldwide, the 2026 Italian Grand Prix weekend in MotoGP has officially begun, with the Mugello stands ready to erupt with passion.
FP1 results
The fastest time goes to Fabio Di Giannantonio with a 1:46.242, followed by Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura, three and four tenths behind respectively. A strong start for the VR46 rider, as well as an excellent showing from KTM, with Maverick Viñales in 4th and Pedro Acosta in 6th.
Pecco Bagnaia starts cautiously with a solid 8th place. The Italian rider from Chivasso was also involved in a moment of concern after running wide in Turn 1 late in the session, leading to a small off-track moment as he was unable to keep the bike fully controlled. Marc Marquez, meanwhile, could only manage 15th in a more difficult opening session of the weekend.
