LIVE Q2 report
11:30 – No one improves on the final runs: Marco Bezzecchi takes pole position, while Aprilia secures a stunning top-three lockout with Raul Fernandez and Jorge Martin. A strong result as well for Marc Marquez, who finishes fourth.
11:29 – Fourth-fastest time for Marc Marquez, although he had been two tenths up at Sector 2.
11:26 – BEZZECCHI! NEW LAP RECORD! Marco Bezzecchi sets a 1:43.921, becoming the first rider in Mugello history to lap under the 1:44 mark on a motorcycle!
11:23 – Here are the times after the first runs. Fabio Di Giannantonio attempted a second flying lap but abandoned it in Sector 4. However, everyone is expected to improve on their second attempt.
11:19 – First benchmark times are on the board: Martin (benefiting from Morbidelli’s slipstream), Fernandez, and Bezzecchi lead the way. Pre-session favourite Di Giannantonio is only fourth.
