The results of the MotoGP Pre-Qualifying in Thailand: Marc Marquez sets the fastest lap
After this morning’s initial free practice, MotoGP returned to the track for Pre-Qualifying, where a stellar Marc Marquez set the fastest time. With a lap of 1:29.165, the Gresini rider delivered a strong performance with a fantastic T4, finishing 0.110 seconds ahead of Martin.

Following closely, Jorge Martin recorded a lap of 1:29.275. The Spanish rider is already showing great form: an important chapter of the championship will unfold in Buriram, and it seems that “The Martinator” is set on widening his lead over Bagnaia.
Bagnaia himself placed fourth, preceded by Enea Bastianini: “the usual four” are out in front, followed by Maverick Vinales in fifth.
The top-10 is rounded off by Franco Morbidelli, Pedro Acosta, Alex Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi, and Johann Zarco, who clinched the last spot in Q2 tomorrow.
Espargaró out for Thailand? Decision tomorrow
Likely out of contention is Aleix Espargaró, whose physical condition doesn’t allow him to continue in Southeast Asia after a serious crash this morning. A decision will be made tomorrow, although it seems the Spanish rider may struggle to carry on through the weekend.
