Jack Miller’s condition after the starting incident: the Australian rider is conscious and on his feet

A major crash at Turn 2 occurred at the start of the Malaysian Grand Prix, immediately halting the race with a red flag. The incident stemmed from a collision between Brad Binder and Fabio Quartararo, creating a tangle of bikes that left Jack Miller injured. Miller became trapped under the wheel of the French Yamaha rider and may also have been struck on the helmet by his own teammate.

The scene led to an immediate race suspension: all riders are reported to be conscious, though Miller remained on the track in visible pain. Swift medical assistance arrived, with Miller immobilized and transported to the Sepang International Circuit’s medical center for further treatment.

An important update came from KTM team manager Francesco Guidotti, relayed by Sandro Donato Grosso, who announced, “He’s okay, he’s okay!” from outside the medical center.

Later, a reassuring statement came from Jack himself, who was seen standing after initial checks: “I’m fine, feeling better, good to see you all,” said the resilient rider.
