Frederic Vasseur spoke about the upcoming season with some very interesting statements. Below are his words.
The 2025 Formula 1 season, which will begin in just over two months, is one of the most eagerly anticipated. There are many uncertainties and a very similar level between the top teams, considering the second half of the championship that concluded a month ago. Everyone is chasing McLaren, which, after twenty-six years, has returned to winning the Constructors’ World Championship, and Ferrari will be the main rival of the Woking-based team.
Frederic Vasseur, Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari, spoke about the upcoming season, offering some interesting remarks. Here are his words: “Everyone is taking risks. If you don’t take risks, you’re dead. We know the development of this car; it’s never easy because we’re in an upward phase, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult.”
Vasseur added: “Everyone is taking risks, and we must also take risks because 2025 will be a strange season. We will need to change quite early with the 2026 project, meaning the car we bring to the track in Bahrain will be crucial.”
The arrival of Lewis Hamilton has further strengthened Ferrari’s position, and the team’s goal for 2025 is to fight for both titles. Vasseur‘s thoughts on this are: “I want to maintain the same approach we had last year in terms of recruitment, development, and continuous improvement. This mentality is part of the DNA of every F1 team. If at some point you say, ‘Okay, I’m in shape, I think this is the beginning of the end.’ Every day, you must push the limits in every single area and come to the factory every morning saying, ‘I have to do a better job than yesterday.’ If you have this approach, I think you’re on the right track.”
