Rumors about Max Verstappen possibly leaving Red Bull are always lurking, but the Dutch driver, in a brief interview with the official F1 channels, preferred to sidestep and not go into detail. These were his words regarding his future: “I have a contract until 2028. I don’t want to think about the future just yet. A lot of things can happen. But for now, I’m very happy with where I am.” “I have a contract until 2028. I don’t want to think about the future just yet. A lot of things can happen. But for now, I’m very happy with where I am.”

The Dutch champion has never hidden his fondness for endurance racing, confirming on several occasions that he wants to pursue this type of motorsport after retiring from F1. It’s no secret that Max participates in numerous online and real-world endurance races, and that he is a true fan of these specific events.

At the moment, the future doesn’t concern him, given his 27 years and the four World Championships he has secured over the past four seasons. Rumors of Mercedes’ interest aren’t a secret either, and Max himself has admitted in the past that he had talks with the German team, but for now, the present is Red Bull.
