This morning, Honda unveiled its RC213V bikes for the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, featuring a new livery and a partnership with Castrol.
This morning, Honda began a new chapter in its history by presenting the RC213V, which will compete in the 2025 MotoGP season. The bike features an entirely new livery compared to previous years (due to the end of the partnership with Repsol) and a return to the original colors that made the Japanese brand great.

The partnership with Castrol was confirmed on the livery, while the predominant colors, of course, will be the red and blue characteristic of the iconic Japanese brand. Both Joan Mir and Luca Marini expressed satisfaction with the aesthetic aspect, while acknowledging that there is still much work to be done on the technical side, with a particular focus on the 2027 season.
Joan Mir and Luca Marini’s Words
Here are Joan Mir‘s words during the presentation of the new Honda: “First of all, I have to say that the bike looks amazing, the new colors are different from what we’ve seen in the past, but they are strong, and it will be a pleasure to wear them. We are starting this new season with clear objectives while continuing to work on improving the bike, the team, and ourselves. It will be an intense start to the year, with two tests right after the winter break, but this will help us get back on track quickly. I can’t wait to see what our engineers and our new partners at Castrol have worked on during the winter.”

During the presentation, Luca Marini also spoke, saying: “It’s fantastic to come to Jakarta, Indonesia, to unveil these new colors: the people here have such a passion for motorcycles, MotoGP, and Honda. Since the 2024 season, we’ve learned a lot, and we were able to finish it in a better way. Continuing to improve is once again the goal for this 2025 season. I know how hard everyone is working on this project, and I’m determined to keep giving my best on the track to help. Last year, we already saw progress, and I’m sure we will do the same this year with these beautiful colors.”
