Ferrari, Hamilton: “Every Formula 1 season represents a new chapter.”

Lewis Hamilton gave an interview to LinkedIn’s “Get Hired” newsletter, discussing his decision to join Ferrari and his work methodology.

Less than a month to go before the pre-season tests, which will help determine the competitive landscape for the 2025 Formula 1 season. The championship promises to be incredibly thrilling, considering the dramatic finish to last season, with at least four teams fighting for race wins.

The expectations are many, but the most striking one is Lewis Hamilton’s debut with Ferrari. The seven-time world champion, who has already gotten familiar with the Scuderia, will be back on track on February 4 and 5 in Barcelona to test Pirelli tires for the 2026 season behind the wheel of the SF-24.

These were his words: “I look at each Formula 1 season as a new chapter. Even in the years when I’ve won races, trophies, and championships, I know nothing is guaranteed for the following season. My approach is to work hard every single day to make sure that when I get back in the car, I’m not just as good as the previous season, but better.”

The seven-time world champion added: “This mentality and continuous progress, whether big or small, are what have pushed me to achieve more than I ever thought possible.”
