The world’s fastest cars are finally returning to action! Here’s the WEATHER and SCHEDULE for the F1 race in Australia!
On March 16, the long winter break finally comes to an end: Formula 1 is ready to hit the track once again, and it will do so from the streets of Australia. After several years of opening the season in Bahrain, Melbourne is back as the season opener.

The Melbourne Circuit
The Albert Park Circuit hosts the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The track winds around the picturesque Albert Park Lake, combining public roads with dedicated racing sections. With a length of 5.3 km and 14 corners, the circuit is known for its high-speed layout and technical challenges, offering a mix of fast corners and heavy braking zones.
Although it is a semi-permanent circuit, the asphalt tends to be slippery during the first sessions, as the roads are used daily by regular traffic.
Since 1996, when it replaced Adelaide as the host of the Australian GP, Albert Park has become one of the most iconic races of the season. Traditionally the opening round of the championship, it often delivers surprises and drama, thanks to unpredictable weather conditions.
In 2022, the circuit underwent changes to improve the spectacle, including the removal of the chicane between Turns 9 and 10. However, for this season, further modifications have been made, specifically redesigning some run-off areas between Turns 6 and 7, following safety concerns raised in 2024.
