A truly frightening crash for Ai Ogura: his bike burst into flames and the Japanese rider was violently thrown off.
Red flag during MotoGP Pre-Qualifying: with 31:55 minutes left on the clock, Race Direction halted the session after a dramatic accident involving Ai Ogura.
Riding for Aprilia Trackhouse, Ogura came into Turn 11 at Assen aggressively. His bike slid out completely and launched him into the air with a violent highside – a dangerous situation that raised serious concerns for his safety.

But the biggest scare came from his bike itself: the fuel tank ruptured, igniting the machine in moderate flames and creating a shocking scene that left everyone holding their breath.
Fortunately, no one was injured. However, it’s worth noting the comical – yet alarming – fall of a marshall who, while rushing toward the burning bike with a fire extinguisher, tripped over himself and took a tumble.
