There was a fierce fight for pole position, but in the end, it was Max Verstappen who came out on top: here is the F1 STARTING GRID at Silverstone.
Talks of a dominant McLaren, a strong Ferrari, and George Russell returning to the track where he took pole in 2024… but once again, it’s Max Verstappen who prevails, securing P1 for the 2025 British Grand Prix and proving he’s still the man to beat.
Total disappointment for Franco Colapinto, who ended his qualifying session in the gravel and is increasingly at risk of falling out of Formula 1.
The PENALTIES
Two drivers have been penalized for the British GP:
- Oliver Bearman: 10-place grid penalty after a crash in FP3
- Andrea Kimi Antonelli: 3-place grid penalty after the incident with Verstappen in Austria
