The feeder series arrives in Miami to make up for the rounds cancelled in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia: here’s how the drivers will line up.
It’s not just F1 this weekend full of action: Formula 2 is also in the spotlight in Miami, with a recovery round after the cancellation of the Middle East races. Pole position is in the hands of Kush Maini with ART Grand Prix (despite a big mistake yesterday), ahead of Rafael Câmara and Martinius Stenshorne.
Watch the schedule: F2 race also brought forward
Formula 2 is also affected by the weather-related schedule change: the Formation Lap will start at 09:25 local time. A decision linked to the same thunderstorms that forced Formula 1 to bring the Grand Prix forward by three hours.
F2, the PENALTIES
Alexander Dunne will serve a five-place grid penalty, as a consequence of a 10-second penalty received after the Melbourne Feature Race. The Rodin Motorsport driver was deemed predominantly responsible for contact with his teammate Stenshorne. Dunne therefore drops from P4 to P9.
