After the chilly Las Vegas GP, the Circus heads into one of the hottest weekends of the year: here are the weather forecast and schedule for F1 in Qatar!
With the drivers’ championship concluded and Max Verstappen claiming his fourth consecutive title, the battle for the constructors’ championship intensifies at Losail. It’s time for the Qatar Grand Prix, marking its third appearance on the Formula 1 calendar.
The Losail Circuit
The Losail Circuit, located in Lusail, Qatar, was inaugurated in 2004 and is renowned for being one of the first tracks worldwide to host night races, thanks to an advanced LED lighting system under the starry desert skies.
Measuring 5.38 km in length, the circuit features 16 turns (10 right and 6 left) and long straights, making it an exciting layout for all drivers.
The track is surrounded by the Qatari desert landscape, presenting challenging conditions for teams, including high temperatures and occasional sandstorms. While Losail has become a staple in MotoGP, this year marks only the third Formula 1 edition, following races in 2021 and 2023, the year Verstappen secured his third title.
