BREAKING: F1, Will the V10 Return in 2028? A Shocking Rumor

In recent years, Formula 1 has been increasingly attentive to the demands of drivers and, above all, fans, in an effort to create a more engaged and loyal community around the sport. One of the most frequently requested changes is the return of internal combustion engines: while the current V6 engines are efficient in terms of performance, their sound does not excite fans like the V10s and V8s of the past.

According to reports from Planet F1 and AMuS, F1’s top management is evaluating the feasibility of reintroducing V10 engines in 2028, using 100% sustainable fuel.

With an eye on the future, the sport seems to be stepping away from electrification. The direction Formula 1 appears to be taking favors internal combustion engines, but powered entirely by sustainable fuel.

While we eagerly await the introduction of the 2026 regulations for chassis and power units, we must also pave the way for future technological trends in motorsport.”
